Greatest part of working with Laureate was the flexibility of hours. While it might seem like its not about the money at first, you quickly learn that the only thing that really drives the company is recruiting students. Once a student is recruited, it doesn't really matter what happens they are all about the numbers. Lots of frustrated students and staff. They ask for feedback from staff but never listen when feedback is given.

This is not a call center but a online university. We called potential students to ask if they were interested in going to our school. Now the department they created for this was apparently a temp department since my whole department was laid off out of no where.
No warning, no opportunity to go to another department.. So if you get hired there do mot go into it expecting job security unless you are an enrollment advisor. Other than that it was ok job. Just don't go in there thinking you have job security if you are being hired for a position for a "new department.

As long as you meet your KPI's you will be fine. Make your calls and you won't run into problems with upper management. Raises are nonexistent.
Current review of the company is concerning as majority of employees cannot wait to leave. Management consistently does not listen to employee feedback which furthermore contributes to the toxic culture. Expect politics to come first and work last. Politics dictate promotions.
