Relevant transcripts and test scores must be uploaded as a PDF to your application. They cannot be added or changed after the application deadline. Unofficial copies are sufficient for the application process and no physical mail is required at the time of application. If you are selected for the program, you will be given instructions to mail official copies. Electronic transcripts should be uploaded by the time you submit your application.
Fall grades from the current semester are not required, so consider uploading transcripts early. The Graduate Record Examination GRE general test is not required for applications and won't be considered for admissions decisions.
You may simply leave the GRE field empty in the application. However, you may submit an expired test score up to 5 years old. We will NOT accept an expired score in this case, no exceptions. A successful applicant typically has a total score of points and a minimum score of 25 points in each category of the TOEFL.
Although exceptions are possible, lower scores often suggest that significant effort will be needed to develop and practice language skills for effective written and oral communication as researcher and teaching assistant.
