Your plow already has a spreader bar welded in. The spreader bar I think of when I hear "spreader bar" vaguely U shaped slightly narrower than a regular drawbar with three hitch holes is really for a Cub plow.

It looks to me like this may be a Hester Disc Plow. Not sure a scraper off a would bolt up if you found one. I do agree with Bill polish it up.

If the grounds not to wet shouldn't be a problem. If the grounds to wet you shouldn't be plowing anyway. Worse case, get a heavy duty, yardstick sized stick and keep it on the tractor. Stop when needed and knock the dirt off without having to get out of the seat.

If you haven't set them, it will work much easier when the front axle is spaced out to ride in the previous furrow and the right rear wheel is set to ride in the furrow you are making.
