Taking apart the dash went more smoothly than I expected it to, I got the radio out and looked at the back and realized that the port that the kit plugged into was already in use, I figured I could just try unplugging what was in there to see what happened.

The ipod connection worked! But I did lose tape player capability, but that is a non issue. I ran the cord over to the glove box which was not difficult, and now I have ipod iphone capability in my car and it sounds incredible!
