リアルのeスポーツ｜Real Esports｜2022/01/24

eスポーツはバーチャルの世界でスポーツをすることだと思っていた。金銭などでギアを購入することなく、同じ環境で対戦できるものはこのジャンルに入るそうだ。ボクがゲームと思っているものもeスポーツになるらしい。日本には360万人の競技人口があり、プロやプロチームが存在する。強いチームを育成するために寝食を共にして練習するゲーミングハウスという合宿所まである。eスポーツはオンラインが特徴と思っていたけど、リアルで合宿というのがなんだか面白い。いやいやそのうちバーチャルで合宿ということになるかもしれない。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

I thought esports was about playing sports in the virtual world. Those who can play in the same environment without purchasing gear with money etc. are said to be in this genre. It seems that what I think of as a game will also be e-sports. Japan has a competitive population of 3.6 million and has professionals and professional teams. There is even a training camp called a gaming house where they can sleep and eat together to develop a strong team. I thought that esports was characterized by online, but it's kind of interesting that it needs real and training camp.
