A long-established coffee shop in the lower part of Izumisano station.

私が泉佐野が好きになった理由は、高校のとき、この商店街でアルバイトしたから。

そのときの雰囲気とか、人の感じとか、何とかしないと潰れてしまう、この日常が無くなってしまう…と思った。

The reason I fell in love with Izumisano was because I worked part-time in this shopping district when I was in high school.

At that time, the atmosphere and the people made me think that if we didn't do something, it would collapse and this everyday life would disappear...

でも！そんな心配なかった！

って思ったのがこのお店。

But! I wasn't worried about that!

I thought to myself, "This is the place to go.

一見、今にも潰れそうで、どうやって経営してるんやろうと思った。

けど、中に入ってみると、愛されている理由がわかった。

定食が、米が激うまだった！

At first glance, it looked like it was about to go under, and I wondered how it was run.

But when I walked in, I understood why it was so well-loved.

The set meals and the rice were so good!

私のオススメは〈エビフライ定食〉

エビがプリプリでおいしいんだー♡

そして、お米は必ず普通盛りで注文してね。

大盛りにするとぎゅーぎゅー詰めになっておいしくなくなるから。

I recommend the fried shrimp set meal.
The shrimp are so plump and delicious!

And be sure to order a regular serving of rice.

And be sure to order the regular portion of rice. If you order a large portion, the rice will be stuffed too tightly and won't taste as good.

昭和感色濃く残る店内は、まだ喫煙可。

それだけ気になるけど、地元に愛されている名店としては、このスタンスでいくんだろうね。

Smoking is still allowed inside the restaurant, which still has a strong Showa era feel to it.

That's the only thing that bothers me about it, but I guess this is the stance they're going to take as a famous restaurant loved by the locals.

でも、多分跡取りがいない。

この味をなくしたくないなぁ…

But maybe there is no heir.

I don't want to lose this taste...
