Ryan Rodney Reynolds, known as Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian movie, television, stage, and voice actor. He is known for his roles as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in Green Lantern and as Wade Wilson/Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He portrayed Michael Bergen on the ABC sitcom Two Guys and a Girl, Billy Simpson in the YTV Canadian teen soap opera Hillside.

Ryan Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His parents are James Chester Reynolds (a food wholesaler) and Tammy (a retail-store saleswoman). He is the youngest of four brothers. Two of his three elder brothers are policemen. Ryan studied at Kitsilano Secondary School and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, dropped out before he finished.

In 2002, Reynolds began dating Canadian singer Alanis Morissette. Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson from 2008 to 2011. He married Blake Lively in 2012. Blake and Ryan have one daughter.
