Lunchtime at LA PIZZA D’ORO

It is spring~.

It's getting warmer little by little.

The other day, I went for lunch to LA PIZZA D'ORO where I had always wanted to go

I was feeling really haopy that I could go and eat there!

The name of the store is in Italian,

The literal translation of LA PIZZA D'ORO is "Golden Pizza".

ORO = GOLD in Italian.

By the way, silver (SILVER) is easy to understand if you think of it as the element symbol Ag in ARGENTO.

It seems that most of the element symbols are in Latin, and many of them come from Italian and Latin, so they are similar.

I got sidetracked 💦

LA PIZZA D'ORO's pizza is Napolitan pizza,

It is typically Napolitan with plenty of sauce on a thin dough 😄

It was a popular store and the seats were always full.

It seems that each one is carefully made by one person, so it will take some time.

It was alunch break, so I was a little nervous, but I was able to return to our shop on time 👍

I'm a little proud that I was able to do it.

In the past, I couldn't eat one pizza by myself,

Since I lived in Italy, I am now able to gobble up one pizza in a blink of an eye 💦 lol

I was probably eating one in every ten days.

They  are cheap locally. I think it was about 6-8 euros per sheet.

Of course there are more expensive ones, but you can usually eat them for about that price.

LA PIZZA D'ORO's lunch was a set with drinks, salad and pizza.

The salad was delicious with grilled and fresh vegetables dressed with Acciughe flavor!

I ordered a simple Margherita.

Because it is baked in a brick oven, there is a tasty fragrance of  

a refreshing pizza with the gentle flavor of tomatoes and basil. 

It was Bumonissima !! It was delicious.

The dough is thin, so it's easy to eat it all up.

And it reminded me of Naples. .. .. ..

Inside the store are also Italian posters and wrapping paper for sweets.

Pulcinella, a clown often seen in Naples, is also here and there.

You can feel a little like you are in a foreign country while staying in Japan.

The water in the glass made me feel nostalgic.

Next time I want to go and eat slowly without worrying about the time 😄🍽

They also have take out, so it may be possible to take it to a picnic.
