My friend teacher at a school in UK sent this photo of the pretty cherry blossoms.  The cherry tree was sent all the way from Japan in February, by the SAKURA CHERRY TREE PROJECT.  The project started to strengthen the friendship between the UK and Japan into the future. The project covers the whole UK. Parks, gardens and schools which will receive trees are located in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. 

What a lovely project this is!

SAKURA CHERRY TREE PROJECT

このかわいい桜の花の写真は友人がイギリスから送ってくれたもの。コベントリーという町の学校の庭に咲きました。桜チェリーツリープロジェクトによって、2月にはるばる日本から送られた桜です。桜チェリープロジェクトは日本とイギリスの友好を将来にわたってずっと深めるために始まりました。桜の木はイギリス全土の公園や校庭に送られています。

とても素敵なプロジェクト！
