生ニンニク|Raw Garlic|2022/05/11
道の駅でニンニクが売られていた。袋に詰められた立派なニンニクがたくさん入っているのにとても安い。これで我が家のニンニクライフも安泰だと買っておいた。いざ料理に使おうと思って袋を開けるとカビが生えているではないか!スーパーにあるニンニクは乾燥されているけれど、生ニンニクはまだみずみずしいのでカビてしまうのは当たり前だ。よく考えると当たり前なんだけど、同じものと思い込んでいた。皮をむいて冷凍することにしたのだが、皮が厚くて中身は小さく、ニンニク汁が爪の間に入って痛いし、部屋じゅうニンニク臭が立ち込める。スーパーのニンニクがいい値段するのもよくわかるなぁ。(絵と文:サカキテツ朗)
Garlic was sold at the roadside store. It's very cheap even though it contains a lot of fine garlic packed in a bag. I bought that my garlic life is satisfuction. When I opened the bag to use it for cooking, mold grew! The garlic in the supermarket is dried, but the raw garlic is still fresh, so it's natural to get moldy. It's natural when I think about it, but I thought it was the same garlic as the supermarket. I decided to peel and freeze it, but the skin was thick and the contents were small, and the garlic juice got in between my nails and it hurt, and the garlic odor could be felt throughout the room.
