嫌いな食べ物はありますか？

My student asked me, “Do you have dislike food?” That question is quite strange and I knew she was thinking 「嫌いな食べ物ありますか？」. 

 Well, in English there are no adjectives like 「嫌いな」 or 「好きな」 so you have to use a relative clause. 

英語の場合は 「好きな」 と 「嫌いな」 のような形容詞がないから関係節を使わなきゃいけないんですよ。 

So, how do you say 「嫌いな食べ物がありますか？」 ？？　Just say…

・Is there any food ☆ you don`t like?

 (Is there any 何々 + 関係節)

☆ここに（関係節の前に関係代名詞の 「that」 を入れても良いし、入れなくても大丈夫。

あっても無くても意味とニュアンスは変わりません。

・Is there any movie you hate?

（嫌いな映画はありますか？）

・Is there any animal you don`t like?

（嫌いな動物はいますか？）

・Is there any place in Tokyo that you don`t like? 

  (東京でどこか嫌いな場所はありますか？)
