In my previous blog, I talked about the TOP Message for the New Year, and for overseas bases, I reported that I delivered my message via the WEB.

On the other hand, for our domestic bases, we gave due consideration to the measures against Corona virus infection and visited almost all bases in cooperation with Chairman Matsui.

The reason why I dared to go to the site under the corona pandemic was because I wanted to meet as many employees as possible and convey my thoughts to them.

The following are the two points I conveyed to them.

・I would like to express my gratitude to all employees for your hard work in 2021.

・I want to make this year the year of the "Turn around and go on the offensive”.

In addition, I placed special emphasis on the request for compliance.

The level of "compliance" required of companies by stakeholders is changing to a more stringent level.

I would like each and every one of you to think about whether or not our group is lagging behind the world in terms of “Quality Requirements”, “Employment Regulations”, and “the Subcontract Act”, and to act with awareness.

Let me explain a little about the meaning of this phrase.

This does not mean that we deny the past, because past judgments and decisions were made in accordance with the laws and regulations of the time and the level of common sense in the world.

However, even if a matter is similar to that of the past, as I mentioned earlier, the common sense of the world changes every moment, and laws and systems are updated with the times, so it is necessary to recognize that the level required of our group by the world has also changed significantly (i.e., without being bound by the concepts of the past).

This means that we need to fully understand these changes and create a corporate culture that can respond to them.

I believe that the atmosphere in the company has been gradually changing since last year's slogan was established, but it has not yet been fully disseminated throughout the company, so I have chosen this year's slogan as a continuation of last year's slogan because I believe that it must take root as a "corporate culture.

In terms of our business operations, we may ask our employees to take sudden holidays this year as well in response to changes such as a decrease in customer demand.

In the midst of the Corona pandemic, we need to prepare for the future “turning around and going on the offensive” while maintaining employment by utilizing subsidies and other means.

In spite of the rapidly changing social environment, we will overcome the difficult situation and make this year a year of reversal offensive toward a bright future for our group.

Let's all work together as one and do our best.
