何処でも・何でも・いつでも・何時でも・どっちでも・どれでも・・・

Students and friends often ask me, “How do you say 「何々でも」 in English.

” That`s a good question! So, today`s useful phrases are…

・anywhere (どこでも)
・anyone (誰でも)
・anything (何でも)
・anytime (いつでも)
・anytime (何時でも)
・either one (どっちでも）
・any one (どれでも)

▼Now, let`s practice!

・Example ①

A) Where do you wanna meet tomorrow?

 (明日どこで待ち合わせしようか？)

B) Anywhere is okay. 

(どこでもいいよ。)

・Example ②

A) What do you wanna have for dinner? 

 (ディナーは何がいいの？)

B) I`m not really hungry so…anything is okay. 

(あまりお腹すいてないから・・・何でも！)

・Example ③

A) Would you like coffee or tea?

（コーヒーと紅茶どちらにしますか？）

B) Either one is fine.

（どちらでもよいです）

※2つの選択がある場合は “either” を使います。

・Example ④

A) Would you like pasta, curry, or stew?

（パスタ、カレー、シチューどれがいいですか？）

B) Hmmnn…I can`t decide, so any one is okay, I guess. 

（うーん、決められないから何でもいいと思うよ）

 ※選択が3つ以上の場合は “any” を使いましょう。
