When we were thinking about #8 V-tip, we also talked about its black shell version but we wanted to wait until we see how #8 V-tip comes out.  In the end, since #8 V-tip was really cool and quite successful we have decided to launch black version as well by adding little more twist as follows :

Barrie Last, Double stitching on the vamp, 270 storm welt, extended heel and commando sole

We also thought about close heel as a dress shoe design.  That idea was also tempting, however, this time I wanted to do with commando sole which seems to fit better with extended heel.  AOC-50, #8 V-tip has double waterlock sole and it's really cool but I wanted to try commando sole on black version.

I'm really grateful for Adam to take my suggestion about AoC's new design again.  I think this shoe gonna be one of the models I wear more often.  :-)
