The Pay Must Be Appropriate for the Work
A wage, also known as compensation, is a monetary reward given to a worker after the work is completed. Laborers have a fundamental right to be paid immediately upon completion of their work. However, it has been observed and reported that a significant proportion of workers are not paid in accordance with the work performed.
Farmers are a country's economic backbone. They are involved in the production of essential foods such as vegetables, fruits, and grains. Many people work in the multi-million-dollar industry of producing profitable products such as coffee, clothing, and chocolates. They, too, face issues such as poverty and low living standards.
The Fair-trade movement was founded to address global poverty, worker mistreatment, climate change, and economic constraints. The organization that advocates for workers' equal rights were founded in 2004. Its motivation and demand are to fairly treat workers who work hard to produce items required for the survival and improvement of the world's population.
