Maharana Pratap (born May 9, 1540) was a 13th Indian King of Kumbhalgarh Fort, Mewar, Rajasthan. Actually, he was a great and brave ruler of the Northwestern region of the Rajasthan. The areas that were under his rule include Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Pirawa (Jhalawar), Neemuch and Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh) and Bhilwara. His full real birth name is “Maharana Pratap Singh Sisodiya“.

He belonged to the Sisodia Rajput dynasty. Furthermore, he fought with the Mughals to save his homeland. Pratap’s and his brave army of 2200 soldiers bravely fought with the Mughal army of 8000 soldiers. In fact, their battle was known as the “Battle of Haldigathi”. However, his brother cheated during the war.

He did not lose hope until the end. Additionally, Jhala Maan resembled with Maharana Partap took the crown. He sensed the defeat of the Rajput from the Mughals. Later, he also killed by his opponents. Pratap faced many battles in his lifetime. However, he died due to an injury during the hunting on January 19, 1597.

Udai Singh II’s Son, Maharana Pratap was born on the 9th of May 1540 in Kumbhalgarh Fort, (Mewar, Rajasthan, India). Moreover, hisage is 56 years old (at the time of his death on January 19, 1597). He was the eldest son of Udai Singh II (father) and Jaiwanta Bai (mother).

Pratap’s full name is “Pratap Singh I”. His three younger brothers’ names were “Jagmal Singh”, “Vikram Singh” and “Shakti Singh”. Additionally, he had two stepsisters “Man Kanwar” and “Chand Kanwar”.
