Enas Taleb Wiki:- A piece of news went on trending on 11th August 2022 that Enas Taleb an Iraqi actress has sued The Economist for using her picture in their article without her consent or permission.
Back in July The Economist published an article based on the obesity of Arab women on 28th July 2022. The article has answered some questions like Why Iraqi women find it challenging to lose body weight. The article answered that the main reason behind Iraqi women’s overweight bodies is a continuous restriction to stay at home and also an overarching effect of poverty.
Why is Iraqi Actor Suing The Economist?
“I have decided to take legal action against The Economist for their cover story. I am demanding compensation for the emotional, mental, and social damage this incident has caused me. My legal team and I are arranging the next steps.”
Enas also stated that her picture was also photo-shopped.
“Audiences have loved me for many years. It was disappointing to see an international outlet label me as if all my accomplishments mean nothing. I am healthy and happy with the way I look, and to me that is all that matters.”
After suing The Economist Enas may not win the case as the picture was purchased from the royalty-free agency, Getty Images. And to the guidelines of the Copyright rule, the person who has captured the photographs holds the picture copyrights. Enas may choose to register a Defamation lawsuit and may win if she proves that the picture defamed her.

Enas Taleb who is still missing the chance to get Wikipedia honors was born in Basra, Iraq. As a native of Basra, she spent her childhood over there. Actress Enas Taleb was only 16 years old when she started her acting career through an Iraqi show “The Shadow Men” in 1996. She played the role of Flora in a total of 13 episodes of this TV series. Then from 2000 to 2004 Enas was seen in TV shows Manawi Al Basha for long 42 epeisodes.
