A billionaire businessman and former Chairperson of Tata Group of India Mr. Cyrus Mistry was the husband of Rohiqa Chagla. On 4th September 2022, he along with Jehangir Pandole, Dr. Anahita Pandole, and Darius Pandole visited Udvada.

They visited Iranshah Atash Behram at Udvada. They visited Udvada to pay tribute and offer their prayers to their family elders. Cyrus visited to share his prayers with his father Pallonji Mitry. His father died in June 2022.

All four then returned back to India on the same day. When they were returning from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in their Mercedez car their car got crashed into a road divider. The incident happened in Palghar on a bridge over the Surya River.

Rohiqa Chagla’s husband was sitting in the back seat with Jehangir Pandole without wearing a seat belt. When the accident occurred Cyrus and Jehangir Pandole both got died at the same moment. But Dr. Anahita Pandole and her husband Darius Pandole are still in hospital and their conditions are also critical. Tributes have been paid by the Indian Prime Minister over the death of Rohiqa’s husband.
