The Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura(岩倉具視幽棲旧宅)

He lived a quiet and secluded life in this residence located in Iwakura Village in the northen part of Kyoto-city till 1867. He was a prominent politician of the end of Bakuhu and Meiji Period.
