Face-to-Face Sales at Department Stores

As online shopping becomes more and more convenient, I still want to go to a real store to see the texture and size of the product. There was a pop-up shop for shoes at a department store. The location was good, and people visited one after another. There were customers who aimed for this shop, and stopped by by chance. Even if they picked up the shoes and tried on the size, there was no store staff. After waiting for a while, the store staff came back with a pile of boxes, but customers couldn't even ask for it because store staff needed to care for another customer. Many customers give up and go out of the shop. Even if there is a real point of contact between the customer and the product, the next action is cut off. Face-to-face sales may also need to change. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
