「環境芸術の森」佐賀県唐津市

環境芸術家・鶴田正明氏による自然主義的日本庭園。佐賀県唐津市の作礼山南西斜面に位置する約10haに10.000本の紅葉を植栽している。あえて人の手を加えることによってかっての自然の森を取り戻すことに視点を当て、「森は海を育てる」という基本理念に基づき森を再生することによって山～川～海への自然の循環を取り戻すことを目的としている。とは言え、鶴田正明氏は京都で修行した庭師であり、要所に日本庭園の要素が散りばめられている。また１００年前の家を移築した「風遊山荘・ふうゆうさんそう」では京都・瑠璃光院さながらに漆塗りのテーブルの天板に窓外の青モミジや紅葉が映り込み、人気の撮影ポイントとなっている。

"KankyoGeijyutsuNoMori/Environmental Art Forest" Karatsu City, Saga Pref.

A naturalistic Japanese garden by environmental artist Masaaki Tsuruta. 10,000 autumn leaves are planted in about 10 ha located on the southwestern slope of Mt. Sakurei in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. The purpose is to bring back the old natural forest by adding human hands. The basic principle is “Forests nurture the sea”.

The theory that the natural circulation from mountains to rivers to the sea is based on mountain forests. Mr. Masaaki Tsuruta is a natural environment activist and a gardener who trained in Kyoto, so the elements of Japanese gardens are sprinkled in the key points of the garden while making the most of the natural topography.

At Fuyu Sanso, a traditional Japanese house that was relocated 100 years ago, fresh green maple trees and autumn leaves outside the window are reflected on the lacquered table tops just like Rurikoin Temple in Kyoto, making it a popular photo spot.
