メリークリスマス。もし南極氷が溶ければ世界中の海水が45m上昇する。宇宙の隕石と同じで警戒監視が必要。

このクリスマスに新たな隊員が南極基地に到着して、１年間警戒監視をして来た隊員と交代する。今年からは無人潜水艦(海洋ドローン)による南極海の潮流観察が始まる。クリスマスシーズンは南極は夏。

If the Antarctic ice melts, sea levels around the world will rise by 45m. It requires vigilance and surveillance, just like a meteorite in space.  New members will arrive at the Antarctic base this Christmas to replace those who have been on guard duty for a year. From this year, unmanned submarines (marine drones) will begin observing the currents of the Antarctic Ocean. Christmas season is summer in Antarctica.
