アリンの爪（Arin's claw）

　2023/1/8 18:06:25、クック25cm屈折望遠鏡で撮影した木星です。右の衛星はイオ、左上はカリストです。アクロマートレンズの色収差を軽減するため、フリンジキラーフィルター（バーダー製、国際光器販売）を使用しました。

　寒気が緩み、シーイングは良好でした。クック望遠鏡は製作後100年を迎えましたが、その性能は一流のままです。

This is Jupiter as captured by the Cooke 25cm refractor telescope at 18:06:25 on 1/8/2023. The satellite on the right is Io and Callisto is in the upper left. A fringe killer filter (made by Baader, sold by International Optical Instruments) was used to reduce the chromatic aberration of the achromatic lens.

　Seeing was excellent as the cold weather slowed. The Cooke telescope is now 100 years old after its manufacture, but its performance remains top-notch.

　2023/1/8 18:32:15にクック25cm屈折望遠鏡で撮影した火星です。西端（右）にアリンの爪が見えています。アキダリアの海から真珠の海にかかるアーチ模様が印象的です。アルギューレ盆地が白く輝いています。

　火星面の紫色の着色の軽減にも、フリンジキラーフィルターは有効でした。

　This is Mars as captured by the Cooke 25cm refractor telescope at 18:32:15 on 1/8/2023. The claws of Aline are visible on the western edge (right). The arch pattern from the Sea of Aquidalia to the Sea of Pearls is impressive. The Argyre Basin shines in white.

　The fringe killer filter was also effective in reducing the purple coloration on the Martian surface.
