Mari Shimizu doll works "VITA NOVA"
In the 1930s, Manchuria was born as a puppet emperor.

Vita Nova Rebirth
A cabaret that my grandfather once opened in Harbin.
Thinking about the fleeting prosperity of that era and the ephemeral enjoyment...
A phantom theater by Mari Shimizu, who depicts people who lived in the shadows of history with ball-jointed dolls and puppet objects!
