TAMA Kanako "A Yet Unseen Comet"
========
For me, self-portraits are "cuteness and the threat of strength."
When I face my appearance and soul, sometimes my heart is painful and I feel like I'm crushed.
Still, we have countless futures, and I hope that girls can be strong.

Face yourself and continue to seek something through photography
A long-awaited photo book that summarizes the trajectory of photographer Kanako Tama, who has mainly published self-portraits!
――――――――
The first part of the book contains a group of works that "mimic" the girl and has a carefree atmosphere.
However, in the second part, Kanako Tama's fantasy takes a strange turn.
The girl who tries to kill herself by cutting off her head with her shovel shows the earnestness of her desire to transform.
And in the third part, she comes back to life as a Matagi.
By merging with the bear, she is reborn as a "strong and noble" creature.
-- Kotaro Iizawa (photo critic)
――――――――
Through self-portraits, I was able to learn that we are worthy of being born into this universe because we have a pure and beautiful feeling that shines quietly in the depths of our hearts.
