Hi, friends! I'm delighted that you've visited 『Little 1’s Craft』. A warm welcome to each of you, and thank you for being here. I go by the name Vicky, and my full name is Tzu Yi Wu. Originally from Taiwan, I currently reside in Japan. I serve as a teacher at the 『Miniature Food Association of Japan』 and the 『Taiwan Creative Clay Art Association』. My passion lies in clay crafts, particularly miniature foods. The joy of little things has always been a source of happiness for me, and I wanted to share this joy with those interested in Japanese miniature foods.

Do you have a liking for Japanese cuisine? Have you ever spotted the fake food displays in restaurant windows or in front of street food stands? These are known as ‘shokuhin sampuru,’ meaning ‘food sample,’ and have been an integral part of Japanese history and food culture for nearly a century. Would you like to try making them on a smaller scale yourself? If so, you've come to the right place.

In my studio, I can teach you how to create Japanese foods like ramen and sweets. I've had a love for little things, such as dollhouses and miniature foods, since my youth. I often visit dollhouse museums and explore the Instagram profiles of miniature artists. Eventually, I decided to learn the craft and share the joy with others. I joined the 『Miniature Food Association of Japan』 as a teacher, instructing people on creating miniature food with clay in Japan. Additionally, I joined the 『Taiwan Creative Clay Art Association』 to acquire more skills. I'm still learning every day, and the excitement of discovering something new in the world of clay never ceases for me.
