Hi everybody. Here is a phrase which students often make a mistake with:

same as ～

何故なのか分からないけど生徒さんで｀same to ～’って言ってしまう人が多いけどこの小さいミステイクは直しやすいです。　

Just use this pattern:

A am/are/is/was/were the same as B. 

▼Here are some examples conversations…

A) How old is your boyfriend?

B) Same as me.

で、もし文章で答えたら…

He is the same age as me.

と言います。
