「天地庵」大分県・”Tenchi-an ”Oita Pref

大分市街地から山懐へ向かう田園地帯にある蕎麦処「天地庵」に小庭があります。白漆喰が美しい築地塀と小さいながらも立派な薬医門が出迎えてくれます。その門に添うように春に赤い新芽を出すノムラモミジが目に鮮やかでした。門をくぐり敷石の上をあるき出すとすぐ頭上に横に長く枝を伸ばした門かぶりのマキがあります。その下を抜けるアプローチが心地よく景石が行く手をうまく隠し先に進む楽しみをもたらしていました。途中で路をそれ庭に入る事も可能です。小さな築山に石を据えた枯山水の周囲に季節の彩を添える植栽がなされています。西洋種の花鉢なども飾られており、いかにも個人宅の庭といった印象です。再びアプローチに戻り店の玄関に向かうと左の足元に据えられた石臼の手水鉢から勢いよく水が流れ出し活き活きした風情を醸し出しています。そのおかげで庭に水がなくても気になりません。店の建物は昭和後期～平成時代に建てられたとおぼしき和風住宅で玄関天井は網代貼りで数寄屋風の意匠も。店内のテーブル席から庭を眺めることもできます。お席はたくさんありますが、庭に面したテーブル（四人がけ）は３つのみなので希望する場合はあらかじめテーブルを予約しておくと良いでしょう。庭好きのあなたが大分市で昼食を蕎麦にしたい、そんな気分のときはこの天地庵をおすすめします。駐車場は広くゆとりがありますし、この店の顧客は食事を済ませるとすぐに帰る人が多いのでたとえ満席でも長くは待たされずに席に通さることが多いようです。

“Tenchi-an'' Oita city, Oita Pref

There is a small garden in the soba restaurant "Tenchian" located in the countryside heading from Oita city to the mountain bosom. An earthen wall with beautiful white plaster and a small but prestigious Yakuimon welcome you. The Nomura maple that sprouts red new buds in the spring near the gate was vivid to my eyes. As soon as you pass through the gate and walk over the pavement, there is a Monkaburi maki with long branches stretching sideways overhead. The approach takes a slight curve, and the scenery placed on the side skillfully hides the path, bringing us the joy of moving forward. It is also possible to leave the road and enter the garden on the way. Around Karesansui, which has garden stones on a small hill, plants are planted to add seasonal colors such as autumn leaves and plums. Western-style flower pots are also displayed, giving the impression of a private garden in modern Japan. When you return to the approach and head to the entrance of the restaurant, water flows vigorously from the stone basin placed at your left foot, creating a lively atmosphere. The building of the restaurant is a Japanese-style house built in the late Showa to Heisei era, and you can see the design of Sukiya. You can also see the garden from the table seats in the store. There are plenty of seats, but there are only three tables facing the garden (for four people), so it is recommended to reserve a table in advance if you want one. This restaurant also has delicious soba noodles, so it is recommended for lunch in Oita City. The parking lot is quite large and spacious. Many of the customers here leave as soon as they finish their meal, so even if the restaurant is full, they won't have to wait long.
