〜に飽きた

Hi everybody! 

 The other day a student asked me, “How do you say 「仕事に疲れた」 in English?” That`s a good question! And in English it`s easy. Just use this pattern:

(be動詞) + sick of 名詞/動名詞

or…

(be動詞) + tired of 名詞/動名詞

So, in English you can say “I`m sick of work,” or “I`m tired of work.”

▼Here is an example conversation:

息子: Mom, what`s for dinner?

お母さん: Macaroni & cheese.

息子: Macaroni & cheese?! We had macaroni & cheese for dinner on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday…I`m sick of macaroni & cheese!

お母さん: You don`t want macaroni & cheese? Okay, then you go out and buy something for dinner and you cook it yourself!

And here`s one more example: I`m sick of chocolate…(>_<)
