【ボーローパウ】

と読みますが、直訳するとパイナップルパン。

パイナップルの形に似ていることからこの名がついたそうですが、日本のメロンパンに似ていて、我が家では一押しのローカルパン！見様見真似で作ってみました。

日本のメロンパンと異なるのは、上に砂糖をまぶすさず、卵液を塗るところ。

少しクッキー生地が少なかったり、味ももっと近付けるべく、また改良して作ってみてます。

尚、後半4枚目は市販品。

一つ一つ説明すると長くなってしまいますが、まとめると極めて帰りたいと思います（笑）日本ではまず見たことがないパン、パン好きにはとても興味深いですよ♡

【Pineapple bread】

It is said that the name comes from its resembles the shape of a pineapple, also It’s similar to Japanese “melon bread” which we like.

I tried to make it just as I saw it.

What makes it different from Japanese melon bread is that the top is not sprinkled with sugar, but instead covered with egg wash.

It has a little less cookie dough and I'm trying to improve it again to make it taste closer to the original.
