Carla Bley has always been one for fairly straightforward titles. This 1987 release features her music and playing as accompanied by five additional musicians. A late night feel pervades SEXTET, which is a bit like a more laid back version of her DINNER MUSIC album. This time out, Bley dispenses with horns and primarily gives the melody lines to guitarist Hiram Bullock and pianist Larry Willis. (出典：Tower Records Online)
