A press tour!! 取材・・・やせ我慢！？

The JICA carried out a press tour to spread our volunteer activity in this country. 

I was interviewed by some reporters from two TVs and two newspapers today.

I did judo in the ESCA judo club.




JICAは、国内外へボランティア活動を知ってもらうべく、TVや新聞などのメディアから取材を受けるツアーを行っています。

今日は、TVと新聞２社ずつが僕の活動の取材に来てくれました。
（渋滞とか・・・なんとかで、２社は１時間くらい遅れてきたけどね）

水曜の日中ということで、平日の午後から活発なクラブ『ESCA』で稽古してきました。

I can still talk baby talk in Malagasy, so it's very important for me to show some good demonstrations to students.

I guess that they are quick learner to understand.

I taught small children  "taisabaki" which is a motion with controling a opponent.

I tried to teach that with singing a Japanese children's song to keep up a steady rhythm.

I did my best without much success, but they look happy. That's good....

I have to improve  this method  to teach next time.



現地語はまだまだ片言なので、技の見本を見せることはとても重要です。

いつも感じますが、マダガスカル人は飲み込みが早いと思います。

今日は、２つのクラスを指導しました。

最初の年齢が小さいほうのクラスでは、『体さばき』といって、相手を制しながら素早く自身の体を移動もしくは変化させる動きを、童謡の「カメと兎」のリズムに合わせて歌いながら指導しました。

楽しみながら行えたことは良かったのですが、歌を日本語で歌おうと設定したので、子どもたちは、聞きなれない歌、しかも日本語に神経がいってしまって、動きが小さくなってしまいました。

次回への課題です・・・。

In fact, I got a bruise on the right shin in the training judo four days before.
I actually didn't go out my place in three days, then I went out for this press tour today.





最後の２枚の写真！

僕の右足に注目です。

なにか、足の色おかしくないですか。



実は４日前、別の道場での稽古の際、右足のスネを強打して打撲をしたのです！


あまりの痛さと腫れ具合だったので、３日間まるまる家から一歩も外へ出ず、ひたすら冷やしながら安静にしていました。


打撲してから４日目の今日、完全とはいわないものの腫れと痛みが引いたので、はりきってプレスツアーで取材を受けにいきました。
