A lo largo de la ruta, intentará escapar en varias ocasiones, pero la ferrea vigilancia de Ghazam,jefe de los mercenarios, lo impedirá. Ella se jura soportar todas las penurias y seguir con vida con un solo propósito: volver a su ciudad y vengar la muerte de su padre. Una mujer que cruzó el mundo y que conoció el amor para perderlo despues. Marga Bas (Barcelona, 1957) se formó en interiorismo en Barcelona. Amante de la historia y de los viajes que propicien conocer otras culturas, su pasión por escribir la llevó a estudiar escritura creativa. De allí nació La hija del khan, su primera novela.
