Finding My Perfect Book Match:本の縁

読書がこんなに愉しいものだと気づかなかったのがもったいない。私は今までいったい何をしてきたんだろうと思う。大学を卒業して、電車に乗らなくなったから読書をしなくなったと思い込んでいたけど、自分に合う本に出会わなかっただけだったのかもしれない。でも、気づかずに死ぬより、気づいて良かったと思うことにしよう。

It's a shame I didn't realize how enjoyable reading could be. I wonder what I've been doing all this time. I used to think that I stopped reading because I no longer took the train, but maybe it was just that I hadn't found the right books for me. Still, instead of regretting not realizing this sooner, I'm grateful that I discovered it before it was too late.
