お米困ったわねぇ

お米が品薄なのは困ったわねぇ。南海トラフの心配もあるので、代用品を買ったけど。やっぱり高いよね。５月頃から日経新聞で記事になってたから心配してはいたけど、こんなになくなるとは思わなかった。

It’s really troublesome that rice is in short supply. With the concerns about the Nankai Trough earthquake, I bought a substitute, but it’s expensive, as expected. I’ve been worried about this since around May when I saw it in the Nikkei newspaper, but I never thought it would become this scarce.
