The 66th Technical Presentation
In late August, the 66th Technical Presentation Meeting was held at the Komaki Head Office and Plants.
This presentation meeting is held twice a year, where young engineers from business divisions report on new technologies and a poster session is also held.
It is characterized by the fact that many technology developments close to business implementation are introduced.
At this year's presentation, reports on new product development for automobiles and general industries were presented under the main theme, “Challenges in Technology Development to Satisfy Customers and Society Beyond”!
Although I cannot describe the specifics of the presentation, I could sense the engineers' earnest efforts on a daily basis from their enthusiastic presentation.
Our direct customers are automobile manufacturers, etc., but in this presentation, proposals were made based on the needs of the end users, and I felt that this perspective was extremely important.
Engineers often tend to focus on “creating something unique,” but it will become increasingly important to develop technologies that respond to the diverse values of end users.

Through the presentation, my expectations for a bright future have been further heightened.
I expect that you will continue to respond to changes and steadily advance your technology development step by step.
