Unexpected Back in 2019!

2019年にまさかの...

I don't know if you guys outside Japan have ever seen this 90's super hit anime, but the popularity of the City Hunter series were literally phenomenal. 

若い方や海外にお住いの方は果たしてご存じなのでしょうか？その昔絶大な人気を博した「シティーハンター」というアニメのことを・・・。

In short, stories are about a lonesome professional bodyguard / sniper Ryo Saeba & beautiful female clients who ask him to protect them. (super to-the-point summarization!)

簡単に言うと、孤独なボディガード / スナイパー・冴羽リョウが様々な依頼人の美女を守っていく、というお話。（ですよね？・笑）

From characters to the songs featured in it got so much attention back in the day. Especially, the song "Get Wild" by TM Network is still praised by so many music fans.

登場するキャラクターからシリーズで使われた楽曲まで、とにかく全てが注目を集めていた（確か…・笑) 中でも、TMネットワークの"Get Wild"は特に凄かったように思います。

近年ではバナナマン・日村さんのネタでまた違う脚光を浴びましたが...（笑）

But even if it became that big hit, how many of us were expecting it to come back in 2019? It's already been more than 30 years since the launch of its first TV debut!

それにしても、まさかオリジナル放送スタートから３０年以上経過した2019年に、誰が映画の新作を予測できたでしょうか！？
