A good film for showing most of us how we really are. We become so busy with and use to this life, we forget what it is all about. Showing that we lose sight of the beauty of our Father's love when we go through tragedy and hardship is what gripped me the most..

I don't know about this. I would like to know that it's like this. All I know is that pain of losing your only kid at just 13 years old... Suddenly, violently and without reason. I am just grateful God let me be his Mother. But, the great sadness really never ends... It just gets a bit duller and less painful with the passing years. I can't wait to die. Nothing really worth staying around for, but in his time - not mine. I learned that when I tried to join him - I got to see him and my Mother but was sent back. At least they got the glowing colors of all the different souls right....

This movie was inspired by a novel which was also inspired by a man whom lost his way due to a horrific tragjedy......However Praise Jesus your comment isnt theocratically correct. In the Holy Scriptures it states that God, Heavenly Father, Jehovah, Yeshua, Yaweah, whichever name or title you choose to call our Lord. Is the only one that has the right of Judgement. So saying that a movie that was albeit in some way misconstrued the overall message behind this mans encounter with our God, will cause Dammnation to whomever watch it, is plaine wrong. Our problem with todays organized majority of religons is becoming more about whose wrong and whose right with each passing year. It needn't be a cause to fight, bicker, argue, nor kill over! With knowledge of the scriptures comes a deeper understanding of truths that you and i might both have read, but interpret not at all in the same way! Therfore whose right in saying your wrong or im wrong and your right? It is the Belief in a Saviour of our souls that matters most. Not the paticular details that entail controversay time and time again between what is righteous and unrighteous. A saying im very fond of using all the time is Hate the sins of the sinner, not the sinner whom sins actions against what is Good should be detested not the individual whom chose to act. And that alone is a key parable in this movie. I appologize to those whom disagree, i however am as you are entitled to my own opinions and beliefs. So glad I didn't watch the trailer before watching the film. This trailer pitches a completely different movie than the sad and intentionally unlikable tone of the actual film.

The trailer looks very promising looks like this movie is headed for greatness. Maybe an Oscar coming soon. This movie wasted 2 hours of my Life! Don't waste ur time I think this movie had a lot of truth. However I also believe that this movie had a lot of errant doctrine and theology. I care less about God and The Holy Spirit being portrayed as a woman than I do about how the movie tries to make God into it's own image instead of allowing God to be how He is described in the Bible, not to mention saying God does not have wrath stored up for the wicked. Yes God is loving but He is also Holy and this movie does not depict that properly if at all. If this truly were how God is then there would have been no need at all for The Cross. If God hath not stored up wrath for the wicked the Cross was not necessary. It was definitely a tear jerker. I was indeed moved by the screenplay as I am in most Christian movies that inaccurately depict the World we live in with fantasy scenarios. I love God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. I also have a realistic accurate understanding of who God is, what He does and, what He did and I would not presume to make Him so common and mundane from the world viewpoint..

I grew up in Florida. Not in a hotel but I’m of the last generation that was able to play outside freely without fear of something terrible happening. This film captures so much of that freeness and carefreeness of being a child. As kid you’re happy regardless of your surroundings..

This truly reminded me of how I lived in West VA, my mom would struggle finding a job and would hustle to help provide me with happiness.. the ending brought me to tears. Must watch! It's also funny.
