Would have been great with a team of 4 or 5 people like Alien or Star Wars. A movie couple of annoying teenagers won't get any money from me.. ......Nah Fam come off it great cgi but most terbble main character and story, the character was so antipatic. god damn funny First I just watched this movie& it was amazing ! In 3d especially, def worth a watch nobody laughed ones in the whole room during the movie.. it sucked
Well, the special effects in 3D were awesome. But that was pretty much it. The special effects did better than most of the actors in this movie. Dane Dehaan as Valerian was completely miscast, and did not sell at all. Clive Owen who usually is solid, fell short in this movie. Strangely enough, the one I found to do a great job, was Cara as Laureline. I was expeting her to be the weak link in this movie, was it was rather the opposite tbh. Even so, this movie suffered from a very very weak script. Towards the end, when the entire truth was revealed, it was a complete yawning experience..

The real winner in this movie is Maria, the servant. Alicia Vikander is starting to give me a trope impression of the bad news romance in every movie. I find it quite hilarious that they use Cara Delevingne's name to advertise the movie. I mean, she has plenty of fans, but it's kinda disrespectful to Dane, Judi and Christoph, who are way superior actors. Anyways, very looking forward to this movie; Alicia is on a roll and she can't miss. It's so good to see the words academy award winner next to her name!.
