萩オープンガーデンで公開されていた個人庭園。初任給で盆栽を買ったというオーナー手作りの庭に大小さまざまな灯籠や石の景物が配置されている。なかでも１５尺の春日灯篭は見事。隣家の建物が借景の役割を果たし生け垣などとよく調和している。玄関に向けて奥行があり流れを感じさせる庭。全体的に大変手入れが行き届いている。通常非公開。萩市の催事などで公開があるかも。

The owner, who bought a bonsai tree with his first paycheck, has created a garden with various lanterns and stone ornaments of various sizes. The 15-foot Kasuga lantern is particularly impressive. The neighboring building acts as a borrowed landscape and blends well with the hedges. The garden has depth toward the entrance and a sense of flow.
