Second Nature first came to Soul Clap’s attention during their House of EFUNK party at Cleveland’s Crobar. This funk quintet is the definition of LIVE EFUNK, blending hard synth bass with gospel harmony and R&B vocals, and the group brings the essence of early house music to life on stage. This ecstatic jam features the wonderfully soulful lead vocals of Collin Miller and leans into a swinging gospel house groove with subsonic bass, knocking drums, and layers of funky clavinets. And of course it wouldn’t be that Ohio funk without a Zapp style talkbox, provided here by Swatkins.
