📝 [Event Report] The 517th Musashi-Kosugi Toastmasters Club Meeting
~The Start of 2026! New Member Induction Ceremony and Various Speeches~
📅 Date and Time: Saturday, January 10, 2026, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM 📍 Location: General Community Hall, Conference Room 3 💬 Language: English Meeting
The first English meeting of 2026 was held! It was a warm and lively meeting, fitting for the start of the new year.
■ New members added! 🤝
During the business session, Mr. I's induction ceremony was held. Welcoming our newest member will make the Musako family even more lively!
■ Today's Roles 🎩
TM J served as the meeting moderator (TMOD). In addition, TM I served as "TM Tips," a traditional role since the founding of Musako, sharing information useful for Toastmasters activities.
■ Impromptu Speech Session ⚡
Led by Table Topics Master TM O, participants attempted to deliver impromptu speeches of 1 to 2.5 minutes.
■ Prepared Speech Session 🎙️
This time, four speakers delivered speeches tailored to their respective levels and challenges.
TM T (Level 4: Managing a Difficult Audience)
Title: "Advice Monster - My Weaknesses Part II"
Participants attempted a 10-15 minute long speech to learn how to handle a difficult audience.
TM S (Level 3: Inspire Your Audience)
Title: "Thanks to all of you"
This speech was powerful, inspiring and conveying gratitude to the audience.
TM N (Level 1: Engaging Humor)
Title: "The hidden weapon for lazy Me's new year's resolution"
This speech humorously discussed New Year's resolutions and honed body language and tone of voice.
TM I (Level 3: Connect with Storytelling)
Title: "Ask again"
This speech practiced storytelling, incorporating participants' own life stories into their speeches.
■ Evaluation Session 📝
The evaluation session, in which participants provided feedback on their speeches, was led by the general evaluation committee member TM I. Four members, TM S, TM P, TM E, and TM K, provided feedback on each speaker.
📣 Preview of the next meeting: The next regular meeting, the 518th, will be an intra-club contest in Japanese!

〜2026年のスタート！新メンバー入会式と多彩なスピーチ〜

2026年最初の英語例会が開催されました！ 新しい年の幕開けにふさわしく、温かく活気のある例会となりました。
■ 新しい仲間が増えました！ 🤝
ビジネスセッションでは、Mr. I の入会式（Induction Ceremony）が行われました 。 新しいメンバーを迎え、ムサコ・ファミリーがさらに賑やかになります！
■ 本日の役割紹介 🎩
例会の司会進行（TMOD）を務めたのは TM J 。 また、ムサコ創設時からの伝統的な役割である「TM Tips」を TM I が担当し、トーストマスターズ活動に役立つ情報を共有しました 。
■ 即興スピーチセッション ⚡
テーブルトピックスマスター TM O の進行のもと、1分〜2分半の即興スピーチに挑戦しました 。
■ 準備スピーチセッション 🎙️
今回は4名のスピーカーが、それぞれのレベルや課題に合わせたスピーチを披露しました。
TM T （Level 4: Managing a Difficult Audience）
タイトル： "Advice Monster - My Weaknesses Part II"
難易度の高い聴衆への対応を学ぶ、10〜15分の長編スピーチに挑戦しました。
TM S （Level 3: Inspire Your Audience）
タイトル： "Thanks to all of you"
聴衆を鼓舞し、感謝を伝えるメッセージ性の高いスピーチでした。
TM N （Level 1: Engaging Humor）
タイトル： "The hidden weapon for lazy Me's new year's resolution"
新年の抱負をユーモアたっぷりに語り、ボディランゲージや声のトーンを磨くスピーチでした。
TM I （Level 3: Connect with Storytelling）
タイトル： "Ask again"
自身の人生の物語をスピーチの中に組み込む、ストーリーテリングの実践でした。
■ 論評セッション 📝
スピーチへのフィードバックを行う論評セッションは、総合論評 TM I の進行で行われました。 各スピーカーに対し、TM S、TM P、TM E、TM K の4名が論評を行いました 。
