雛人形

雛人形は、１１世紀頃の宮廷貴族の装束を身につけた華やかな人形です。日本には古くから人形に禍を転じる風習があり、毎年３月３日に行われるひな祭りでは、この雛人形を飾り、女の子の健やかな成長と幸せを願います。

雛人形には様々な種類があり、表情も個性豊かです。男雛と女雛の一対は、金色の屏風や色彩豊かな衝立と一緒に飾ります。さらに、三人官女や五人囃子を加えた総勢１５体もの雛人形を飾る七段飾りは、とても華やかです。

Hina–Ningyo Dolls

Hina-Ningyo are dolls dressed in the gorgeous costumes of Japan's 11th century court nobility. In ancient Japan dolls are considered to have superstitious power to take away all the misfortunes from living people, thus they display dolls and pray for their girls' happiness on Hina Matsuri (Girls’ Day) March 3rd. Hina-Ningyo dolls come in many varieties. At the top of the stepped display sit emperor and empress dolls, backed by a gold or richly decorated screen. The number of steps varies, making a seven-step display rather rich with 15 dolls including three court ladies and five musicians.

女兒節擺設的偶人

女兒節擺設的是身穿十一世紀宮廷貴族裝束的華麗偶人。日本自古以來有把災難轉給偶人的習慣。每年３月３日的女兒節就是擺設起偶人，祝願女孩的健康成長和幸福。偶人的種類很多，表情和個性豐富。一套擺設通常包括一對男偶人和女偶人與金色屏風或色彩鮮艷的隔扇。再加上三個女官侍從和五個樂手總共為十五個偶人的七層擺設非常豪華。
