Chris’s Ghost Tour

Do you enjoy ghost stories, local legends, strange history, and quiet evening streets?

Chris’s Ghost Tour is a small English-language walking experience led by Chris, the Australian owner of our café.

Chris has already led this walk around ten times for overseas visitors and local café customers. 

It has attracted curious travellers looking for something different, visitors wondering what to do in Nara at night, people who became interested after chatting with Chris at our café, history lovers, and families who wanted to walk through an old part of Japan.

This is not a horror attraction. 

It is an atmospheric walk where you can hear eerie stories and see a different side of Nara.

It may suit couples, friends, solo travellers, and families with older children.

Time: about 90 minutes

Price: ¥5,500 per person (tax included)

Drink: Includes one café drink of your choice

Booking: Please contact us in advance with the number of people in your group and a few possible dates and times.

Evening tours usually work best, but availability depends on our session schedule.

Advance payment may be required for larger groups or special arrangements.

This is a night walking tour. The standard route may include public streets, park paths, and uneven natural ground. Please wear comfortable shoes and take care while walking in the dark.

We can also adjust the route to stay on easier paths.
