MAEDA Ayaka

Born in Mie Prefecture in 1989. After graduating from high school, she began selling her paintings on the streets of Namba, Osaka.

She began exhibiting her work in 2012 and currently holds numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and department stores nationwide.

Based on skillful ink painting, her work ranges from delicate depictions of beautiful women intertwined with whimsical ideas, to depictions of dying insects and flowers, exploring the mystery of life and death.

A noteworthy artist whose reputation is growing.
