仏ヶ浦（青森県佐井村）

下北半島西海岸中央部の下北半島国定公園に属する景勝海岸で、1941年国名勝および天然記念物に指定された。長年の波浪と風の浸食によって緑色凝灰岩が大小さまざまな仏像・仏具に形づくられた奇岩奇石の岩石海岸が約1.5kmにわたって続く。

Hotokegaura Coast (Sai Village)
Hotokegaura has been designated as a national place of scenic beauty and a natural monument since 1941. The coastline, with a variety of large and small rocks shaped like Buddhist statues and objects from long-term surf and wild erosion, stretches approximately 1.5 km.
