【槵觸神社（くしふるじんじゃ）/宮崎県西臼杵郡高千穂町】
「槵觸神社」は、古事記・日本書紀にも記されている、天孫降臨の地として伝えられている神社です。
昔は社殿が無く、山そのものを神として崇めていました。
神社周辺には、神話史跡がたくさんあり、散策コースも整備されています。
「天真名井」、「夜泣き石」、「四皇子峰」、「高天原遥拝所」、「高千穂碑」など見どころ満載！
御祭神は、瓊々杵尊（ににぎのみこと）・天児屋根命（あめのこやねのみこと）・天太玉命（あめのふとだまのみこと）・経津主命（ふつぬしのみこと）・武甕槌命（たけみかづちのみこと）です。

大黒様と恵比寿様。2柱の福の神を祀る全国でも珍しい神社です。
その境内にある石柱、神武天皇聖蹟男水門顕彰碑(ジンムテンノウセイセキオノミナトケンショウヒ)
ここが神武天皇の兄、五瀬命が長髄彦との戦いで傷つき、悔しさに雄叫びを上げ、崩御された場所であることを証明しています。
石碑が大きく欠けているのは、太平洋戦争の戦火によるものだそうです。
それらは悠久の歴史と戦争の悲惨さを語りかけてきます。
