Technical Requirements
My technical requirements depend on the venue and performance environment.
I work especially well in warehouses and factory spaces because they have good natural acoustics. However, I can also perform in theaters, on stages, outdoors, and in many other environments.
Please let me know about your venue, such as:
1. audience capacity
2. stage size
3. acoustics
4. whether I can tap dance directly on the floor
5.floor construction
6. floor material
Then I can tell you exactly what equipment I will need.
Floor
The floor requirements depend on the venue.
If the floor has a good sound, I can tap dance directly on it.
If the floor does not have enough resonance, I will need a wooden platform or wooden boards for tap dancing.
The minimum size is 3 ft × 6 ft × 1 in (about 90 × 180 × 2.5 cm).
It is also fine to use two 3 ft × 3 ft boards.
Wooden pallets or strong wooden boxes can also work, depending on the setup.
Table
I would like to borrow one table from the venue for my metal percussion instruments. The ideal size is:
Height: about 50 in (127 cm)
Width: about 50 in (127 cm)
Depth: about 25 in (64 cm)
These measurements are flexible.
Microphones
Depending on the venue, I may be able to perform completely acoustically without microphones.
If microphones are needed, I would like to borrow:
3 × Shure SM58
2 × Shure Beta 91A
If this setup is not available, the following is also okay:
2 × SM58 (or similar)
1 × Beta 91A (or similar)
I will also bring my own piezo microphones.
