In 2004, a brief, divine encounter revealed that long-lost stranger after all those years. His image had never left me. He looked the same in the picture he sent me during that brief meeting. I believe that 2004 moment was also a divine encounter. God's heart and His love lie dormant and unnoticed until they are revealed. God's love is intertwined with the human heart- often unnoticed - but when our souls open and we see through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, we can understand true love. God's love story is no different: He reaches down to interact with us. He wants to place His glory within us, pouring it out as His love and glory for humanity. I understand now that love - divine love - is priceless, beautiful, unconditional, and boundless. From 2007-2008 I had a brief encounter with a stranger whose face stayed with me my whole life. I didn't understand why - I simply carried the memory. In 2023 that face resurfaced: he sent me a picture that unlocked everything. I believe that picture was a divine moment. For reasons beyond my comprehension, I had once given that person - and that experience - to God, and the connection was lost by accident. Yet in 2023, the connection returned, to my shock and amazement, revealing a deeper truth about God's love. God's love, I've come to see, often lies dormant - hidden in the wilderness, lost in the heart of Eden, and woven into the lives of humanity. That image helped me understand why I could never stop thinking about that stranger: the distance between us was intentional. It was used by God to unfold the clarity of His love story to humanity - to reveal the truest form of love for each individual and to call our souls back toward Eden. Our journey, I now believe, is a calling - to reclaim authority and fullness in God's supreme power on earth. In that sense, we are called to be Christ's presence here: Jesus in the earth.
