version 4.3.2 Little Snitch
Yeah, I ended up visiting the site from my Linux machine just to find out if there was some kind of browser sniffing thing at work. Nope, osx only.
If I buy the single license will I be able to run it on all of them? I already got burned by sketch only running on one computer.
You can be concerned enough about Internet safety that you changed prefab rules, like requiring individual approval of domain access in Safari, instead of letting it use all those ports. You’ll have to allow sites and items referenced on sites one at a time as you visit, but that offers some people more piece of mind against unwanted Web-based trackers and even malware.

I am semi getting used to it... I guess my main question is - how do I know which connections I should allow? Like, say the Apple processes - do you choose to forever allow *any* connection or just the specific port it wants to connect to?

Releasing Little Snitch 4.1 with the new feature about publishing and subscribing to RULE GROUPS [onyxfile id=2021] I don't. They're not targeting me. If you don't know that an area of water bordered by land on three sides has comments on their pages, you're not very well versed in the Internet. You see screenshots of windows programs all the time with just a sidenote somewhere that is like "oh yeah, and for linux and mac too" Little Snitch also monitors network traffic on a per-application basis. It's easy on MacOS to see how much bandwidth you're using but much harder to see which program is using that bandwidth. The Little Snitch shows network usage for each application, albeit in a limited way. Fixed an issue where traffic captures (recordings of network messages) were incomplete. Little Snitch isn't what you think you mean when you say "software based firewall". You most certainly *do* have a firewall... the one built into OS X. Software like Little Snitch could be more accurately called a filter. It monitors connections outbound from your machine. Did they do that?
